After 2 weeks, how accurate is your watch? I can't believe that mine is still right on. I've been using the "lay it on a certain side at night" method and after 2 weeks it is less than a second off. Is that normal?

Yeah, that's possible. Laying it on a certain side at night could offset whatever gains or losses it's made while on your wrist. Being a Z-series, it's fairly new, and you can expect the accuracy to vary over time, but not by much.

Yes you are quite fortunate to have such a watch,but sometimes you are lucky to get a mechanical watch you can regulate like that.But any watch any brand today, if accurate to say 10 secs plus or minus a day, is still a extremely accurate watch for something mechanical.

That's fantastic accuracy.

I agree over time it might pick up a second or two as things "settle in" for lack of a better term, but still amazing accuracy.
Most of mine seem to be in the +2 to 3 sec. range.

My Z series SUB averages a loss of about 2.4 seconds per day ever since I purchased it a month ago.

I've got a pretty new SD...wear it for about 10 hours/day and rest it "dial facing forward" at night and I'm at +/- 0 secs/day. Nice!

That is great accuracy and I could attest to the same. My 3 month old DJ is still within 1 second of where I originally set it! BTW, mine is a D series.

Never realized that there was such a subculture about Rolex's. I'm still getting used to the extra weight on my wrist, but when I look at the time it makes me smile.

Be careful Mario Rolexmania is a fatal disease.
Seriously, you will get used to the weight very quickly and before long you will feel naked without that feeling of your Rolex on your wrist.
In wearing my watches, the only thing that annoys me is that sometimes, after a few days or a week or so, and depending upon the weather, the watch can feel a little uncomfortable.
I take it off and with a 1inch wide paintbrush and some soapy water give the bracelet and watch a clean. My watch then feels really nice against my skin when I put it back on, and the stainless steel or other metal shines.
