I've only seen one at a pawn shop that deals with Rolex here in Jacksonville. Ofcourse I own one and wear it on rare occassion. It's a very nice looking watch.

I've seen two. One on a client of mine he's the international sales manager for a pro golf distributor, and the other on my AD's salesman's wrist. He just had to have one.

I have only seen one Explorer around here... and it's an older model that one of our Division Chiefs wears. It's got a white (metallic?) dial...

Saw one for the very first time in November 2004 on a guy's wrist. It was still relatively new at the time and I must say I was quite impressed then!!

I've seen quite a bit of Rolex's but have only seen one LV at an AD.... Most people dont like getting that watch because it is hard to match and it does stick out. but its a BEAUTIFUL WATCH.

haha...i have every single shade of green in the lacoste wardrobe dedicated to my mean green sub! imo the original lacoste green goes the best with it.

I think the color is meant to match the envy of your friend's face.

Well the Asian women love big watches.......but if the woman in the photo was wearing an LV would you care if it was authentic

I've only ever seen 2 at AD's, and 1 on my Insurance Broker's wrist.

He has no idea, but plenty of cash. He says it's a James Bond Submariner. I haven't got the heart to tell him otherwise.

It's great that he likes it for what is it. He has a large collection of watches, mostly non Rolex, especially Cartier.

I've only ever seen one "in the wild" and that about 2 years ago. I've never seen one at an AD.

I haven't seen any out there. AD had one in the back and asked if I wanted to see it, but I declined. Knew I wasn't gonna buy it and didn't want to waste his time. Still, it's growing on me the more I see it on the net.

I have an LV and its the only one I have seen. I look at every person to see what watch they are wearing too. It somewhat surprises me when people say they don't like the green or you cant wear it with a suit etc... The green really does not appear as bright in person or as pictures have shown. I also think that it really shows the black face and the stainless so much better. Its a really nice contrast. When you think of tiffany, you think of the little blue box. When I see the green, I associate it with Rolex.

Looks like it's not meant to match with clothes. Seems like it's supposed to stand out and BE SEEN!

I know what you mean. When I first saw it in person and tried it on, it sort of smile at me, but it wasn't grinning. I had it on for quite some time debating with myself if I should get it and even the manager said that it probably isn't for me if I was taking that long to decide. So it surprised him when I said that I would take it.

Since wearing the LV, it has been smiling at me more and more everyday. The green contrasts nicely with the black and it does stand out, but it's not in your face.

I actually was debating of selling or trading it in for a TT blue sub, but this thread reminded me how unique the LV is and that it's worth keeping especially being my first Rolex. I have really grown quite fond of it. The TT blue will just have to wait for now.

Until I see the face, I'll hold off judgement.

I'll be in Vancouver in a few months so lets see if I spot any Asian women sporting LVs at the airport or Chinatown. And if the wife asks why I'm staring, I'll say it's for research. ;)

I've never seen one at an AD or on someone's wrist.

I did see a fake on some loudmouth once. It was very similar, even fairly close up, but the crown guard gave it way.
