Should I have received the anchor
with my new 16610LV? I did not get one and I have read that they stopped putting it in, but yet, others have received it.

A. Jacobs, its funny how it says "like new" under condition for the submariner anchor.
Well at least I know I am not the only one that didnt get. |

I got one with the Seadweller, TT Blu Sub as well as the LV... (however my LV is older) funny thing is that I wondered if it'd be a two tone anchor with the TT Blu Sub, but it was th same as the one that came with the LV...
However I'll bet your LVs are the new, swoopy ones.

They say it is "like new" because they get them from ADs and other reliable sources they claim, so they really can't say the anchors are brand new since they didn't get it directly from Rolex. I thought that rather makes sense until I saw their new style Rolex boxes described as "brand new". Hopefully they are authentic, because I ordered one recently and they are in transit. |

They used to give them away at ADs with purchase, doesn't come in the box I don't think.

I just got an SD. I didn't get the anchor and I didn't get a buff-cloth either.
When I was being shown Rolex's prior to my official purchase, after each watch I looked at, the AD would just use a plain white cloth to buff the watch and place it back in the case, so I'm assuming even the AD's don't get the Rolex buff's either. I plan on getting the anchor and cloth somewhere else. Maybe Qualitytime. |
