The DateJust Affair
Hi All,
I'm new to TRF and I love what I see and read up here. My name is Victor and I'm 37 yo. My first Rolex was a 1601 (I believe) SSDJ that I bought in '91 for a whopping $890.00... It was an older Rolex even then... silver pie-pan dial, jubilee band with a LOT of strech... I later put an Oyster band on it and it was a lovely watch... My current watch is a 16030 SS/WG DateJust with a black dial, fluted bezel and Jubilee band... quite possibly the perfect watch... I love wearing it and the presence it has on my wrist... What I would like to put together next would be a WG DJ with a black onyx dial - no markers - on a WG president band with a smooth or domed bezel... Let's see if I can make that happen! Cheers, guys - nice to be in like-minded company! -V Last edited by vcm_dj; 21 January 2007 at 09:39 PM.. |
