Do people who wear platinum or all gold Rolexes develop limps?

Or tilt from the waste?

Was wondering this since the watches are quite heavy.

I swim laps with my DD on and have noticed that I pull to the left; almost like one oar it too heavy.

I can see this happening. When I swim with a flask on my arm it does the same thing.

To be honest, since I got my Platty, I started to hunch over, but I found that walking with a cane helps me stand straight.

It's gotten so bad that I've had to get a realignment on my car.

I’m not surprised. All the kerbing and weight issues would do that.

I understand that platinum watches have less waste, since when you polish them, the metal gets "pushed around" rather than polishing off. So waste shouldn't be an issue.

Another Grade A Chewy post. Make sure if you get the sniffles and sniff, that you use both nostrils. You don't want one side of your nose to be bigger than the other someday.

I thought this was an outlier condition but clearly it’s common. Maybe time for a health warning on pm Rolexeses like the Tritium days?

I’m just lucky the boat anchor is only a 36, otherwise I might drown (if not for the extra ballast . . . . ).

You mean waist and not waste. Unless you think this thread is a waste

Funny, I had elbow surgery years ago and couldn't wear any heavy watches for a long time! I often go without a watch now, but when you actually can't wear one, you have a yearning desire everyday. Kinda like I only want Chic-Fila on Sunday.

The technical term is “PM induced scoliosis.” The pain is real.

I've been told you have to report them to airline crews when you board the plane so they can make seating re-arrangements to balance the plane out.

That's one reason why first class has far less seats as well. Too many customers with PLATINUM in the front and they wouldn't be able to get off the ground.

This is just what I've heard.

I had to stop wearing PM watches exactly because of this weight issue...

Can't you just switch the watch to a different arm every week or so and get yourself balanced out until you can afford one for each arm.

Heck no! I wore my dd to bed a couple time so I could cosplay Mr. T and I slugged my wife by accident when I dreamed I was pittying a fool for scratching my van. When she finally woke up a few days later she made me promise to not wear any pm Rolexeses to bed again. So now I’m just furry and soft Chewie.
