Ueah that makes a good 6 watch collection, will have 5 once the 15300 leaves and KV arrives, with maybe the 44 ti as 6th, but that would be the limit, again I would be fine with the 3 and the KV, but am tempted by the 44 ti, really need to try it or another 44 to see if I can wear it...

After seeing the KV's on here including your (almost) incoming. I am intrigued with going that route in the future. There is something pretty cool about a watch that even most people who are into watches have never seen.

Plus they look awesome and are very customizable to exactly what you want.

the Ti 44 wears really well. Its supposed to be big so even if its borderline as far as fit it still looks good. The 41mm ROC was too big for me i felt as that one isn't supposed to be that big in the same way an offshore is.

Many congrats Tyler, you have my 2 fave PP SS! Is that Wempe with the great service? If so I really should try and get down there more than twice a year!

I love your collection, maybe you can upgrade to a full gold piece now, maybe the GMTc or the 15400.

thanks

And yes, thats the AD. They have taken really good care of me

The AP GTG is a great excuse to come to london

Still unsure if i can pull off a full gold watch with a bracelet. Im coming around to that idea slowly and might get there someday. If i do it would probably be the jumbo.

Tyler did you place a deposit at the time of your request or are you just a very good customer of the AD? I placed an order for the 5712 and did put a deposit down. I'm just waiting. That's a gorgeous watch!

no deposit. My AD doesn't operate a formal "wait list" as far as a queue. I just told them i wanted it and they got it pretty quickly. I have built up a good relationship with them though. I was shocked at the speed of this one though as they did make me wait for the 5164A but as soon as i bought some other watches from them and they saw i was a good customer they got it in pretty quick.

I have pics of it, but as was said Kari takes really crappy pics, when Karl sent me the pic Kari sent him I thought "man his watch really sucks" when in reality it's awesome, so can't post pics he sent me, but pick up is probably the 18th of September, I don't take great watch pics, but will still be better.... let's say that what is really cool is that you can ask him to do almost what you want, except 3 things, case, lugs and hands, for all the rest you pay you decide, I think doing it was even better than when I will get it, but needs to be seen in real to know if the making was better than having it, I mean Karl is already going for a second dial and a second watch from him, so definitely happy customer....

Two great PP incomings and both squeezed in before the price rise, nicely done.

A big congrats to you! I recently received mine as well, last week, and it hasn't left my wrist yet. I agree that taking it off is a bit of a trick, but brute force seems to work just fine!

Big congratulations

5712 is my all time favorite, enjoy it to the max.

Really jealous that you could get it that fast. I am on multiple waiting list for months now and can't see the light at the end of the tunnel

It is hard, they just love Tyler in Wempe now, plus he's like 6 ft 5!

I think they are height-ist as the last time I was there they tried to charge me £25 to remove a link, haven't been back.

They also know i would not flip it. They were really paranoid about selling these pre price rise and my sales guy had to vouch for me to his boss. I really think that was a big factor.

It seemed as though they genuinely wanted the watches to go to someone who would actually wear it instead of them being anti-flipping because they are mad about someone else selling for market price when they have to sell for retail.

Im actually pretty surprised they didn't sit on them for 2 weeks instead of moving them out the door now. They gave up some extra margin as obviously they were delivered under the old prices and they could have waited and sold them at the new prices. That of course assumes dealer cost changes at the same time retail prices do.
