First PM Rolex : 126715CHNR or 116515LC Choco/Ivory

Hi Guys, deciding on my first PM Rolex. going to get from grey market, no chance with AD.
which would you choose? Also, i rarely see people here with Daytona oysterflex, most will go full PM. Any reason why? OF seems more sporty. In my 30s.

Can't post link as its my first few post

I’d go for the GMT personally of the two, but I’ve never been drawn to the OF models. Let us know which one you pick!

The reason GMT shy me away is I afraid it will be too loud as its full PM.
Daytona OF , is always no brainer to get a daytona for rolex, as I dont have one yet(of cos I like it too, slim watch for my slim wrist)part of another reason is also it might retain value more compared to the GMT. who knows in future 5-10years down the road, it might need to go for other reason.

food for thought

I vote for the oyster flex Daytona - I think its a great watch comfy and can dress up and down. white gold is most under radar. I have a yellow gold version and in my 20s. good luck

Having owned a Stainless Steel Daytona ceramic white dial, a full rose gold chocolate dial, full yellow gold PN dial and white gold silver dial on oyster flex, I can tell you, the ones I miss the most and I kinda want to get back are definitely the oyster flex one and maybe the stainless steel.

I sold the white gold of one cause I was an idiot and wanted a gold watch to show off and that one was too under the radar, but funny enough it has always been the one that felt more special amongst all the Daytonas I had, even after I owned full gold ones , so my vote is for Daytona on OF

GMT is my fav Rolex , but only when it’s the Pepsi on jubilee

On a PM Rolex it would be on the bracelet. I have owned the WG Yacht Master on OF a couple of times and it is a great watch and comfortable but for the money something is missing, the bracelet.

GMT. Better looking watch and the feel of a full PM bracelet is more special to me.

I'd take it a different way. Get the two tone Rootbeer (which many prefer to the full rose gold anyway) and then a day date as your full PM.

thanks for the input . intention is definitely not to show off.
so if given a choice now, you will prefer Daytona OF anytime over Full gold Daytona?

Nope, this will be a once a month on the wrist watch, for the weekends.
BB58 for daily, other SS rolex once a while.
Apple watch too

the RG bracelet is definitely nice, only when its new.
once it attracts all the scratches ,

I dont usually put much care to the watches i wear, same for car.
but of cos, i dont purposely trash it.

Hence, the indecisiveness. If I were to get the GMT, i might/will pair it with rubber B mostly

Well I own both of the 2 you mention. And they are both awesome in there own right.

I typically wear the Chocolate 515 the most then when I need to feel heft I put on what I am wearing today, my Chocolate 326935

The 715 is very nice. It gets wrist time but comes in 3rd place versus the other 2 mentioned. So I'd recommend the 515. Awesome discontinued watch.

Let me know if you decide on which one you want to buy. I might be able to help you. But not via an A D

For me the Daytona on Oysterflex is one of the finest watches Rolex offer. All of the benefits of a precious metal chronograph but with an ideal daily wear strap that means it can fly under the radar.

I feel far more comfortable wearing mine (Everose on Oysterflex) out and about than one of my all gold watches.

Looking to add a new ‘23 126 reference White or Yellow Gold version to my collection later this year too.
