REf 5512- original dial or service
This is a ref 5512 from 1963 with pointed crown guards
I think the dial should have a chapter ring and say " swiss " rather than the later T<25. It is a lovely glossy gilt dial but i feel is from a later period than the origianl watch Or is this simply a later gilt 5513 dial on an earlier 5512? Any thoughts? Thanks in adavance

Looks like an original tritium matte dial to me.

well, dial belongs to ref 5513, late of the gilt dials era, ending approx. 1966.

I also think it is a later 5513 gilt , not associated with 5512 but who knows what Rolex does when servicing?? thanks for all your help and opinions Julian have a great xmas |
