Hi All,

I purchased a new Rolex Datejust 36mm (126234) from an official retailer in Montreal and they initially set the time and date for me.

I did not wear it in the past couple of days so I unscrewed the crown to update the time, and to my surprise the hands moved forward if i turned the crown COUNTERclockwise!

Is this normal??

I've gotten my hands on three other Rolex datejusts and they worked like a normal watch should... hands would move forward when turning the crown clockwise...

Like a "normal watch should"...

Rolex 31xx series of movements did move clockwise when the crown was turned that way.

The new 32xx movements turn opposite from this, and revert back to the earlier 30xx movement action

Thank you! I just read about the new 32XX movement and it makes sense! It definitely caught ne off guard.

Yeah. There has been more than one post here and at WUS where people asked about why their watch-hands rotation was backwards. Someone even thought they'd been swindled with a fake.
