Sad Cyklops

Hello!
Long time lurker. Sorry that my first post had to be a negative one.

I just bought a 1991 16610 submariner from an online merchant on chrono24.
It was advertised as condition 1, mint.
I received the watch and I did indeed find it to be in mint condition (along with its box), however, I think the cyclops is way off center and I think it is pretty annoying.

The merchant has left a one year warranty on the watch but I am hesitant to sending it back just because of the cyclops.

I submit two images for comparison. I am sorry for the quality but the important thing is that You can compare the rehaut with the cyclops.

What would YOU do in this situation? Am I being too picky?
I have not yet contacted the merchant.

I am no expert, but if I paid a significant amount of money for something, I would want it to be perfect. And, I know that I would never be happy with the way the cyclops sits on that watch. It would bother me every time I looked at it. My recommendation is send it back, or find out how much it would cost to get it corrected and request a refund of that amount.

I find it hard to judge a cyclop's orientation based on a few pics, but this one does look off. Not that it was installed wrong, but that the cyclops itself is adhered wonky. It could be an aftermarket crystal? Or it could just need a minute clockwise adjustment? Magnification looks ok?

I certainly can't tell from just a few photos. If you aren't happy, I'd do what poster above recommends.

It looks off in the picture. If in fact so, I would absolutely have it resolved, it would bother me.

The date wheel looks angled because in the second pic, I centered the cyclops over the date wheel. Look at the rehaut in both pics.

Anyway, since I didnt get much response from here, I posted on watchuseek, and aside from some users claiming it was a fake (which was debunked), getting it fixed by a local watchsmaker for 35 would be a better idea than sending it back.

Thread here (I used a different pic):

I would be more concerned with the bezel markings, especially the 40. But maybe it's just the pic.
