Most here would advise against buying anything from overseas, especially a vintage Rolex.

It's had a bad knock around the winding crown/cyclops area, but if it stays under 100,000 yen I might be tempted. I'd bin that strap though.

It's just my observation that buying from overseas and coming through customs can be both thorny and costly. I was also hoping that others could clarify. Sent from my SM-G900V

If you want a nice 6694 that you dont have to worry about, contact Dickson Tai (DTwatches). He is a member on this forum and has that exact dial 6694 with a 79350 solid link bracelet for approx. $1650 US shipped. It has a little aging but it has a bracelet instead of a cheap pleather strap. Dickson is honest and fully stands behind what he sells. I have bought from him before and I was more than happy

Its an auction currently at 41,600 yen which is $385 US. I wonder how high it will go?

I've heard that, too, but I don't know anyone who's dared to try it.

It was far easier to send a Rolex to the US than to send a small tin of cigars to Gerardo (had to prove they weren't Cuban). |

It looks like it sold for 102,000 yen. Did you buy it OP?

I doubt with an old one like that, no one would give it a second look.
