winding problem with aquaracer
hi, i have had an aquaracer for about 2 years (wap2011) bought from an AD. i have noticed that when i have to wind it the watch continues to wind whilst i tighten up the crown.
is this normal? it doesnt seem to do it on my other watches. thanks in advance for any advice. |

It seems somewhat abnormal to me, but I really can't give you a definitive answer as I don't own a tag.

doesn't seem to happen on my sub. that's why I noticed because I only bought the sub last week.

probably something wrong with the gears. I recently fixed a buddy's aquaracer and the problem was that it wasn't keeping the charge and does not manually wind properly.
Turns out that; 1. When he manually wound it, the crown wasn't all the way released. 2. A screw sealing the movement has come lose hence stopping the rotor from going around to charge it. May or may not be related but just my $0.02. |
