Check out my current watch collection

Dear TRF,

I have just bought a Zenith Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Rescue this month for an air piece on my way to complete a "sea/air/land/space" collection.
This watch plays a role of air piece; therefore, I have chosen a pilot's watch from a company with a historical aviation background.
I am also happy to have one example(Omega) of manual-wound chronograph with cost and production effective cam lever/lateral clutch system, and now another finer example(Zenith) of an automatic chronograph with better system using column wheel/horizontal clutch in my possession.

I have just sold my Panerai PAM533 because initially, I really wanted a Rolex GMT-Master II for the GMT complication goes - Panerai was a temporary "scratch that itch" second-choice option since it is hard to purchase any Rolex sports stainless-steel models at authorized dealers right now.
Thus, my plan is to save up and add a Rolex GMT-Master II next to complete the air portion of the collection; the models under consideration include 126710BLRO, 126710BLNR, 126711CHNR.
I might need to bundle deal a Rolex Datejust 31 or Day-Date 40 in order to buy this piece at authorized dealer; as last resort, I may need to purchase it at gray market although I didn't really want to in the first place.
Another alternative going forward is starting haute horology road and upgrading to a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time.

My current sea/air/land/space mechanical watches collection - in order of acquisition:
1) Rolex Submariner(116610LV): Sea(Diving watch) => 2017/5/26
2) Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional(311.30.42.30.01.006): Space(Chronograph watch) => 2020/1/1
3) Zenith Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Rescue(03.2434.4069/20.I010): Air(Pilot + Chronograph watch) => 2021/12/11

Current collection: 1) Rolex Submariner 116610LV, 2) Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 311.30.42.30.01.006, 3) Zenith Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Rescue 03.2434.4069/20.I010

Great trio, nice collection.

Don't buy something that you don't really like just to get something that you wanted.

Go to Rolex boutique near you and express your interest in Day-Date and TT Rootbeer. Take whichever become available to you first and wait for the next. TT Rootbeer is one of the best TT and is underrated, so it might not be too hard to acquire.

It's just the watches, no need to rush and buy from secondary market at high premium, just wait for your turn at the right time.

Good luck!
