Reputable Grey Dealers

Gents:
It's been a while since my last Rolex. I am getting the bug for a nice preowned piece with a 31XX series movement.

Which grey market dealers are the most trusted options by this crowd?

Just use common sense have a search on the net ones near to your location if they have a bricks and mortar store they will be trusted..

You might also look for the watch on Chrono24. Check the professional sellers with a brick and mortar store, website and loads of 5 star ratings.

Sorry gents.... I neglected to specify that I am referring to ONLINE dealers. Looking for trusted/respectable recommendations.

Have heard good things about DavidSW. How about Bob's Watches? Any others?

Stick exclusively to the sellers in the for sale section under boutique sellers.

agreed! If you're after a very specific watch that may only be available through 1 0r 2 dealers, check the "Who's who" forum, ask for references and if any seller makes you feel uncomfortable in anyway. Move on. Good luck!

SohAIS and Takuya have been very good for me.

I have done trades and straight purchases with both. Perfect condition, priced competitively, overnight shipping. Next day follow-up and phone calls.

I agree, Chase at Nashville Watches is great to deal with. I’ve purchased over a dozen watches from him and have had zero problems. Also, his prices is some of the best compared to other online dealers.

So, that means the rest of us sellers aren't trustworthy? Sorry for you.

There are plenty of reliable sellers here, actually, many very reliable sellers that aren't in the boutique section.

Thanks for the heads up on them. I just looked at their website and they look pretty good with competitive pricing.

I personally vouch for all the above sellers as well as Chase at Nashville Watch and have purchased from all of them multiple times.

I think he is one of the higher volume boutiques on TRF, so his positive ratings may be greater in number.

But there are other considerations. I’ve dealt with many of the boutique sellers here - they rank as high in satisfaction.

So I’d say DavidSW is not “higher” in regard among his peers, just perhaps higher in customers served?

Not just him. Grey pricing is all over the place. Some high some low and then you have your private seller with the lowest price and can’t move their product. Weird.
