6611B movement reliability

I remember reading that the caliber in the 6611 early day dates was less reliable and more prone to issues like day wheel sticking, time-keeping reliability, etc.

Is this true? Can someone talk about it? There’s a fine specimen out there that’s grabbing my attention but I’ve got reservations.
