Bezel spring repair advice please/thank you

Hello. I am looking for some advice. I have submariner that I bought new 3 years ago from an ad in Vegas. I live in San Diego. I have the warranty card etc. I don’t mind being patient to have if fixed but I don’t want to spend a lot of money since I feel this is too soon in the watch’s life to need repairs.

Here is the problem. The bezel turns both ways and based on a little research I suspect it’s the bezel spring that needs fixing or replacement.

So my question is: should I

1. send it to Rolex to be repaired hopefully under warranty?

2. Go into a local ad even though I didn’t buy it there and ask them to repair it?

3. Send or take it to an independent watch repair person and pay to have them do it?

4. Send it to the ad in Vegas I bought it from?

5. Some option other than those above.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Barry

The ratchet underneath the bezel is worn out, common on the 6 digit subs, is a warranty repair.

Call the Service Center in Dallas. They will walk you through the return to them for warranty work. I would not add in a middleman nor would I let an independent repair shop work on my watch which is still under warranty.
