New to the group

Hello all,

I am new to the group and had a question. I own a Day Date 40mm and am interested in trading it in/selling it. What are your thoughts on the Rolex Daytona Ceramic and/or the Rolex GMT Two Tone Root Beer? Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forums. The Day Date, GMT, and Daytona are very different watches. What else is in your collection? Which do you like more, the 116500 or the 126711?

I have both. The GMT is awesome and my favorite TT in the whole Rolex line up. I travel a lot and use that compaction the most. I love the look and feel of it.

The Daytona is an icon, but the only time I constantly use the chronograph is to time my morning coffee. It’s more comfortable on the wrist than the GMT and I forget I’m wearing it.

Appreciate the warm welcome. Currently building my collection and wanted to add those pieces to potentially replace day date. The Daytona has grown on me. To answer your question, I think I like the daytona more, but still think the two tone is a great watch.

Welcome to TRF

I like the TT GMT CHNR and would trade a DD40 for it but only because the GMT fits my tastes better.
