Icon5 Do you wear watch on left or right wrist regardless of which one is dominant?

Curious if anyone wears their watch on their dominant hand or how you chose which wrist to wear it on?

Like most right hand dominant, I wear my watch on my left wrist. I have a friend who wears his on his right and is right handed. He just started wearing it that way and always has.

I had a mild injury to my left wrist a few months back and had to wear my watch on the right wrist and at first it was very odd feeling but over a couple days, didn't mind as much.

Thoughts?

Right handed and also wear on my right.

Just feels most comfortable to me that way.

I believe the concept was/is you wear it on your non dominant wrist so you can wind and set the watch on your wrist with your dominant and most dexterous hand.

You know, "we're going over the wall at 18:00, synchronize your watches men".....

Well it's kinda moot because I always have my watch off when I set or wind it.

Right handed

I wear my watches on my left wrist yet my right hand is dominant, I note that James bond wears his in the same fashion, ...... its said that all true Englishman are right handed.

Ambidextrous, write and eat left handed but golf and throw right handed. Wear watch on left wrist.

I wear it on my right hand, and I'm a lefty.

I just tried to switch wrists thinking I'd experiment a bit.i didn't like it one bit. It felt loose and just made me feel uncomfortable, experiment over!

Interesting. A lot more folks wearing on dominate hand than I would have guessed albeit our sample replies are limited so far.

Keep them coming!

Great topic! Right handed. Left wrist for watch.

Bought a watch the other day and double wristed it home with the watch I wore to the sale. Felt weird on the non dominant hand. Hah

Left Handed wear on right wrist. I tried it on my left and hated the watch on the same wrist/hand that I write with.

Left handed, wear on right wrist. If I wore on my left, the bracelet would scrape along my desk when writing.

Same. Also a lefty made the switch three years ago from right wrist to left. Watches just look better on the wrist with the crown pointing towards the base of the hand, particularly chronographs
