Mighty fine looking watch. Should be a cool LE to own.

These much be released in batches...and the first batch sold out, but there will be more.

I just can't see $2.7M in only a single reference of GS, sell out in less than 24hrs.

I fully realize that the watch market is molten hot and Hodinkee is so ridiculously popular that they sell out of all of their "Hodinkee exclusive" offerings in short order, but this seems a bit bonkers even now and even for them...

I think it's a nice touch, not sure what's strange

One of the best rollouts of a new watch I’ve seen. Beautiful photography and cool idea for a shoot given that many people have spent a lot of 2020 primarily enjoying their watches in their homes and around family.

GS limited editions are usually around 600 pieces so this doesn’t surprise me.

When they say limited they mean it.

I gotta admit I don't see the hype in this reference. A blue dial with old movement and Hodinkee brand on it. Maybe I'm not big on partnership watches and that's a big + to some.

Ask yourself, limited edition or limited production? In other words, GS or Rolex

They are a PIA. I texted asking about shipping. Got the standard “we said 4-12 business days”. Was kinda rude for an AD. Funny, a media article said over 1/2 available for “immediate” shipping. Whatever.

I thought the same. Had it understood that a good chunk were ready for shipping with free overnight shipping. But half a day later got a message saying it would take 4-12 business days.

I could understand 1-2 business days but 4-12? That’s a bit much. Especially since they don’t answer emails to even confirm what batch I got in. (Immediate vs November)

This watch confuses me. I understand that it is based on the SBGM221 and that is truly a dress GMT so the WR makes sense for that model but this new one is put on a bracelet and sold as a sporty model so I feel it should have at least 100m WR. I will stick with my BB GMT .

There’s actually someone selling one here on the forums at basically no markup after tax/shipping. Just in case people want to see some live pics. Plastics still on though in pics.

After seeing some live photos, it doesn't look like the watch matches the bracelet. Maybe its the angles, or the colors, but the matte bracelet with the high polish looks like it clashes.

On one hand I can’t argue with those who see the bracelet choice and integration as the biggest flaw. On the other hand, if I do keep mine it will spend it’s life on a leather strap anyway.
