Rolex 5500 Explorer Dial from Sotheby
Hi guys!!!
I have won an auction of 5500 explorer in Sotheby. But I have just realised that the description stated that “The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The dial and hands is in very good overall condition however it has been replaced during a servicing. The band with minor surface wear throughout. Underneath the lugs with minor surface wear from removing the bracelet. The case back with tiny pinhead and surface wear throughout. The case is extremely sharp condition with minor signs of polishing. The bracelet with minor signs of wear at places.” I am wondering if the dial real or not but it literally sold from sotheby. Would u guys give a thought on this case? Thank you so much |

Start with a better pic but based on this one I have some doubts. 5500's with explorer dials are a minefield anyway.....
