How many watches do you take with you on vacation.

Heading to to California next week for vacation. I usually take 2 watches, a Rolex and a Seiko diver. Im thinking GMT over my Sub because of the time difference. What do you guys do? Ever take multiple Rolex's?

I think you might be in the wrong section but anyways..

No, only one. Two means one more thing to get lost or stolen. As far as the time difference goes, if I'm on vacation I don't care what time it is back home!

Just one. I'm going to Mexico in a little over a week, and I'll only be bringing one.

Only one, but I try to vary which one it is from vacation to vacation. It usually winds being the GMT because of the multiple time zone feature.

Just one, but take 3 or 4 straps.
Beauty of Panerai.
Rubber in the morning for the pool, leather for relaxed afternoon, croc for evening if needs to be a bit fancier.
Back to rubber for the next morning.

I used to take two, but now I only take one due to all the security checks at the airports and the increased chances of things getting stolen.

I used to take the SD and DJ along just for some wardrobe variety, but I've come round to agreeing with Doc - it is just one more bit of kit to check on while you're travelling.

If you need a watch, it's not a vacation.

On vacation I just bring the GMT. When traveling for work it's the GMT and a Hamilton chrono beater if any heavy lifting is involved.

Every hotel I stay in has a safe in the room. I take a watch for every occasion I anticipate - but the best vacations, I only anticipate one.

For me it is one and one only. Will be hard to pick sometimes but not even worth the risk of having one lost or stolen by airport staff or some Hotel worker. Your best bet is to take one that can do everything you need of course to avoid any possible conflict

At the past world cup I did hear a story about some Soccer player who passed Italian customs with two Rolexes and had one taken for some reason, need to fact check that for details though.
