I will be in cali before too long. I realize it is a big place, but this would be an epic meal. I will reach out offline.

I can hear the jingle in my head clear as day: "Rice-a-roni the San Francisco treat!"

I buy their Mexican and Spanish rice mixes all the time for Taco night!

Sloppy Joe’s are delicious…I made them last night.

Ground beef, onion, ketchup, mustard, dark brown sugar, and a little Worcestershire sauce and you got yourself a fine meal.

Mamas fried tenderloin and biscuits were and still are fantastic!

Clearly came looking for a fight too. Good luck with that.

“Haters gonna hate” prompted my reply. Maybe your definition of ironic doesn’t include replies to sophomoric cliches. Nonetheless, I don’t need to start or finish fights here. I don’t need Jeff Gundy to protect me either lol. If you have a problem with me, you know how to use a PM.

I LOVE this!!

If you two really did have a PM exchange and cleared the air, so it didn’t get misinterpreted by all the others on the thread,… That’s awesome!

Great for Paul to ask for that.

Grandma’s biscuits and sausage gravy. Can’t be beat and I’ve had about 30 versions all across the USA.

For something homemade, my mothers Sweet & Sour Meatballs were great.

For packaged food, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese was my favorite.

Sloppy Joe sandwich, and Mac and Cheese. Occasionally, a “Hungry Man” TV dinner. My favorite was the fried chicken, mash potatoes, and a small portion of apple pie. I use to watch Batman and Robin while enjoying my meal.

The good old days.

You watched Batman??

I remember that on the other channel, at the same time, … was “Lost in Space” !
(..... Danger, Will Robinson danger!!)

And remember fold out “TV tables”, that you would put your TV dinner on top of, while you watched?

My all-time favorite was my grandma's spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs and sauce were homemade with the meatballs cooked in the sauce. Fried bologna sandwich with mustard was another favorite.

I have fond memories of my Mom's chili, beef stroganoff and grilled cheese. Also, the smell of onions and garlic cooking in butter is always something that brings be back to my childhood.
