Can you say Scheveningen?

Sometimes it is better to work in an air-conditioned office, this was Scheveningen beach this afternoon:

From the looks of the picture I'd try to find another beach/lake or stay home in the AC. That's nuts!!!

WAY too many people for me Frans.

I think I would just stay in my back yard with some cold ones.

I can't believe it! That is an enormous beach and to be so packed full of people. The only beach goers we saw when we walked it in May were the kite surfers. Just how warm does the North Sea get????

Great, now that I'm thinking back to our trip all I can think about before heading to sleep are these scrumptious snacks

Beaches have sand. In this case, there's water and people, and then more people. I'd barricade myself inside with a good air conditioner, plenty of iced tea and make sure no other people were around to suck up my cold air.

Hee hee - I'd prefer mine in an air conditioned room, but yes - that would do nicely!

Scheveningen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈsxeːvənɪŋə(n)] ) is one of the eight districts of The Hague, as well as one of its subdistricts.

Scheveningen is a modern seaside resort with a long sandy beach, an esplanade, a pier, and a lighthouse. A nudist section is 1 km to the north.

Wow, I'm surprized the water doesn't have more of a yellow color to it... with that amount of people in the water.

I live within a block to the beach here in NJ in a summer resort town and I've NEVER seen our beach that crowded.
