https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/Shop All great. Imo the 7500 is max needed to be spent. The 750 Professional includes presets but not needed unless running a business and wanting to set it and forget it. At home pre-sets are not needed imo. E310 is great as well, just a little louder. |

Nothing offensive here and my waistline and cholesterol seem to agree.

Kudos to you for pulling that off but either you have an incredible metabolism or you don’t eat much during the day. Depending on your size that’s around 40% of daily calories going to sugar and saturated fat!

Just to add, I'm not sure if you're serious, but the Taylor machines are noisy! They are also driven (In Europe) by 3 phase electricity (3X240V@16A). They need to be on all the time. Self-pasteurizing machines are the only ones that work, unless you fancy spending a few hours daily cleaning it. With Self-pasteurizing machines cleaning is every 2 weeks.
Every night they do the pasteurizing procedure, and then you want to be far from it. (Noise) Oh, and mine was about 25.000 euro.

No. But I have a BBQ cooker that will handle 21 Boston butts, or about 170 lbs.
If you don't have an electric ice-cream churn, you might want to try one. They are cheap and fun. Stay safe.

Used to have several McD’s machines...until I sold my restaurants and retired. I had a warehouse full of outdated, need for parts, etc...equipment. This included shake & soft serve machines. I did have equipment that I took home from time to time, but a soft serve or shake machine would’ve been too big, too much maintenance, and buying product would’ve proved difficult once I retired

You can easily find a good used soft serve machine at your local restaurant supplier, you should be able to purchase a counter top model it takes up much less room and produces a product a good as a stand up machine, it will run 3 phase and will be needed to be torn down once a week for cleaning and sanitizing. The supplier should be able to connect you with an installer. 3 phase, a waterline and drain is all that's needed. They also can direct you to a milk supplier, look for a high butterfat soft serve pre-mix. The higher the butterfat the firmer the soft serve. The fluffier the soft serve the lower the butterfat and generally the more air that's pumped into the product. I don't know what kind of machines DQ used but you'll be stuck with what your installer is trained on (don't buy a machine the service person is unfamiliar with). Taylor and Stoelting are two popular brands. Good luck, when done right soft serve is a wonderful treat.

Restaurant grade equipment
Taylor has the largest market share for both DQ and McDonalds. You can get one for your home but power consumption will be large and the soft serve mix will likely be expensive.
The biggest reason why many machines will be down at McDonalds is because of failed heat cycles due to poor maintenance or part failures. Mostly due to human error or not following maintenance schedule. The pump seals must be replaced often and lubricated for proper air to be pushed into the mixing chamber. Failing to get good air will result in “icy” or “crystallized” ice cream that will be heavy and gross. We had an older Taylor left over after we did breakfast optimization at our stores and we hooked it up at company events and summer parties, it was the greatest thing ever. If you can get your hands on one, I’d absolutely pick one up. If you want shake/ice cream you’re looking at about $20K new ... You can get supplies from Franke or directly from Taylor! Money well spent ! Sorry for getting carried away ... I was a bit of an Ice Cream machine whisperer back during my McD days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi Richard, unfortunately I was not - I cut my McDonald’s career short after being a district manager for a number of years when I finished college and went into finance. I was with the organization since my 14th birthday until I was around 26. I absolutely cannot complaint about the outcome and success of my career and I absolutely owe that to the Golden Arches and HU @ Oak Brook! Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
