Daytona bracelet vs submariner

Does the bracelet fit the same?

Can I just tell an ad these are the amount of links on my SUb same should work for the Daytona?

Pretty sure the submariner clasp is larger because of glidelock

The last watch I bought from Tony (SDWatches), I did exactly what you said. Told him I owned a six-digit GMT and believe the dealer removed one link from 6:00. Also told him my wrist is 7.25 inches. Asked if he wouldn’t mind sizing as best he could since AD’s were closed and I didn’t want to butcher the screws.

He sent me a pic with the watch sized and laid out flat next to some type of measuring tape showing a length of 7.25in. Watch arrived and fit perfect.

Perhaps your AD has a similar method of measuring? Worth an ask.

Edit: pic uploaded for reference.

I think number of links that you need to take it out to fit your wrist should be the same amount, but no. of links left might not be the same if the length of the clasp is not the same length.
