Are you being entirely serious? If so this could be significant info. What are the details?

A lot of people have mentioned seeing it on Instagram. What account has posted it? I'm always looking for good watch accounts to follow.

Police stations are the only place to execute this kind of thing.

The guy doesn't even do laundry?

What a lowlife.

But seriously, there better not be a number three...

We weren’t there, so don’t know exactly how it went down. Maybe their was a nod of the head from the seller, or maybe when the thief said “let me take a look”, there was no effort from the seller to stop the handover.

Either way, it sounds like the seller was duped and was going to let the buyer handle the watch. But I agree, the safe thing for the shop to do was not get involved beyond preliminary authentication.

Yep, I was too nervous about being scammed when I sold my BLNR last year. Went the easy/safe route and sold to TS, but that piece of mind probably cost me more than $1K.

sorry to hear...

btw the good news is that the police did find and arrest this guy at his apartment. He committed this same exact crime multiple times and was wanted by different police departments around LA/OC

Unfortunately no watches were recovered and he isnt talking
