Agree - you are not finding a nice Silver Print with Rounded CGs for 9k

Although saying that. There was a Tudor 7928 with gilt dial (not chapter) recently sold on ebay for $6K recently so I dunno. It had long 5 insert and decent dial - would have thought this would have gone for more....

I saw (and liked) that one ; )

Somebody got a nice watch for a decent price at 6k

Not a Gilt Dial though - shiny gold has marks are nice but not in the same league as the other Silver print 63-66 and Gilt 59-63.

why is the demand so high when you can buy a rolex sub for the same price? on the other hand, many decide to buy Tudor sub because they are a relatively a cheaper replacement for Rolex sub.. But with current price, this could be wrong for now.

I've bought and sold many Rolex and Tudor watches and the only one I regret selling is my 1968 Tudor snowflake.

There's a lot less Tudor Subs than Rolex subs out there, from any era.

When I search ‘Rolex on eBay, I get 45,000 entries. Tudor nets me 5300. I think that the Tudor sub ratio is 10:1. I’m quite the statistical sampler!

Many tudor preowned are selling below MSRP, less discouraging for owners to sell. There are also more people or dealers own Rolex than Tudor. Statistical sampling of yours is good nonetheless.

PS: many Rolex in ebay could be fake too

Blue version?

Does anyone know how much rarer the blue 79090 models were vs the black? Were they mainly for sale overseas? Just would love to know. Thank you all. Happy New Year!

I don't know if they are more rare, but the blue is more valuable.

Nice Tudor Blue Snowflakes collector Vintage pieces appear to be very rare these days. I've seen two nice vintage Tudor Blue Snowflakes listed for 12-13K over in Europe/world wide recently, (no papers).

No bubble yet...Nice vintage Tudor Blue Snowflake pieces are certainly commanding more than twice what they were seven years ago.

Very interesting.

I would bet the fact that the Snowflakes being really expensive is because Tudor is popular now, and naturally people want the original when something has been reissued. The cool design cues they used on the new watches were alway cool, not many people knew about them possibly.

Look at the Tudor chronos. Were the montecarlo Tudors fetching $20k before they re-released that watch?

There are some Tudor subs that lag behind a bit in price but are equally cool.

I called this “galactic” dial of small rose sub. Look mesmerizing under the light!
