How hard is it to get a bluesy?

I am planning on purchasing a Rolex soon (most likely a TT DJ) but I also really like the TT Submariner with the blue face. I have two questions regarding this. 1) How likely is it that a dealer in northern VA or DC would have one and 2) Are these available for an AD to order?
Thanks!

Not super likely to have one sitting around, I would not consider this a difficult watch to get. You should be able to get one within a few weeks max.

You shouldn't have a hard time getting a bluesy. Visit two or 3 ADs, let them know you want one, and I'd bet you have it within 4-6 weeks, might even get lucky and walk out with one.

Not hard to find a 116613LB, I have seen them at local ADs here.

Should be pretty easy. If it isn't in stock, figure a few weeks to get from a dealer.

Not hard. I walked into an AD last month and bought one right out of the case. This past Saturday I saw one in another AD in southern CT near NYC. Let me know if you are interested and I'll pass on the info.

Should be able to find them - I was in your position 2 months ago where I was deciding between a TT DJ41 and the bluesy. Went to 3 ADs in different places, only one had the DJ configuration I wanted, 2 had the bluesy.

And more importantly, the choice I made is below, and I could not be happier. Not to say anything negative about the bluesy at all, but the TT DJ is a sweet watch.

Gray sellers are charging slightly under retail for fully-stickered ones, so it shouldn't be too hard to find at an AD.

You live in one of the epicenter's of Bluesy ownership. There are AD's and Grey dealers all over Virginia and Maryland. Do a search.

I would think its very hard to get a bluesy not knowing what a bluesy is, but if you want a Rolex 116613 blue dial sub, they should not be hard to find you might even get a small discount.

I never thought I'd have to say this to you, but you might want to check the forum acronyms and vocabulary sticky.

It depends on where you are and what stock has just arrived when you enquire.

I was fourth on the wait list for a Blusey at my UK AD and mine took about 7-8 months to turn up. At the same time I heard about one sitting in a window of a London AD.

I walked into the Rolex AD in Nicosia last week and they had one on display. Even though I own one, I still had to stop and admire it. If I didn't already have a Blusey in my collection I world have not been able to resist.

I can't speak for the US situation. Not impossible,to get, I would imagine.

I see them on occasion at AD's and do not believe this to be a difficult watch to find. Do yourself and your bank account a favor and look at our Trusted Sellers here and your wait will be over. I would also go slightly preowned with box and papers and save a lot. I know it is the internet but the big sellers like DavidSW are better than most AD's and you can have the watch the next day by 1030 a.m. after you pay. Use the search function here and see what I am talking about. Good luck.

Couple of posts mentioning small discounts for grey unworn, that is not the case in the UK. Now going over mrsp. I found mine in and AD in London, that was extremely fortunate, have not seen one in months. I think the steel scarcity is spilling over to pieces like this. If you can’t get the steel some will get the TT.

I dont have to check anything to me and I am the only one that counts when I post my own reply, the watch will always be a 16613 blue dial sub.

I'm sure that was a joke, but the reply seems to need humour or at least coming down a level or two of ego?
