Thoughts on 5513

Hello all,

Was hoping for feedback on this 5513 I wa considering. Any thoughts on condition would be greatly appreciated.

Not a specialist on the dial however those end links are definitely not correct for this watch. Also, interesting that clasp doesn't have any code on it, so it might be fake.

That bracelet all together looks suspect but it may be my eyes and I really hate the recut case. A watch of that age should not have perfect chamfers like that. It needs to be worn and rubbed, dinged and dented IMO. Who knows how much filler rod has been added to that case.

A 9315 with 380 end links is plausible for an early '73 5513, up to you on the case, I cant speak to the insert...

The color of the dial, hands and insert look manufactured to me but sometimes its the photography to make it have more patina than it does. I would request pics of the piece in natural light and close up pics of those chamfers.

End links are fine. The date code is on the clasp blade that isn't visible.
