1972 GS Hi Beat

Check this out. Sold to me from Adam Expatbeast. I absolutely love this thing. It came to me on a leather strap but I quickly found this bracelet on Amazon. I am currently looking for a genuine bracelet from that era. Hope I can find one.

Congratulations on the new acquisition!

There are actually two different bracelets for this reference.

Details here -

Oh. Still can't post links.

Hmm... do a Google search for "Seiko watchband catalogue - 1972/No.1"

Kind regards,

Gerald.

Thanks Gerald. Just a few more posts and you can add links. I think it's ten required.

I mist this thread. I think that watch is a stunner, it suits your wrist perfectly. Many congratulations.

I like it on the strap and bracelet.

I just got one of those bracelets and put it on one of my vintage GS pieces (from April 1969). Looks good to me, pretty much in the correct style, nice change from the leather in summer and a great deal for under $30. Thanks Brett

Nice pick up, and the bracelet adds to the watch (that was a good find too). I’ve been looking for something similar on a bracelet for a while, don’t see them often.
