(Samurai)- Macy’s was having a sale...

Macy’s was having a sale... and I couldn’t resist ! My first Samurai, to join my beloved turtles, sumu, baby Tuna, Skx’s...

I’ve always admired this version in pics , and in person really loved the dial and contrasting black bezel edge and crown.

Still have to size it... anyone know if these are normal pins, or are they the PIA pins with cuffs that I can never get right ??

Cool blue

And great prices now at Macy's. I hope it's the easy to change out links! Will keep an eye on this thread to see.

Yeah I got my 777 Turtle last month for a steal with the sale at Macy's...plus my card was expired so I got an additional 20% off for re-signing up...I got it for $260... I LOVE A GOOD DEAL...and I'm enjoying my Turtle...my first Modern Seiko...I'm hooked.

The Samurai is cool. Congrats. Enjoy.

So, it is pins and collars- took a little while and bent two pins but completed the job. What a PIA! Otherwise bracelet is decent. Just ordered a Barton elite silicone in navy blue from amazon.

That is a great deal! The sales woman asked if I wanted another 20% off by opening a card but after the Equifax breach I locked all my credit agencies and it’s a big hassle to unlock and then apply... so had to settle for the 35% off “only”

Oh well. At that price I guess screws are not happening. I did see on the web site for Macy's that if you bring in the sales receipt from your on line sale (or in store sale) they will size it for you. But I would be weary of what that may look like! Lol

Love the dial on that one, congrats! Macy's really does seem like the best place to pick up a Seiko these days...hard to beat those sale prices!

I take the tricky ones to a good jewelry store.

For 0 to $15, they do a good job. On cheaper watches and easier jobs, I will give it a try first.

Very nice, it's something else when Macys has those good sales. They include the watches of course and I have wondered it they really just don't know what they are doing when they do.

Better movement that hacks and is windable, more solid feeling bracelets, lots of variants.
