Any physicians use "pulsation bezels" on the job?

In a world where "tool watches" are not really tool watches anymore, I can't help feel that one of the few complications I could actually use for its intended purpose is a watch with a pulsation bezel. I haven't really seen many that I fancied and was looking for recommendations. Do any physicians here use it on the job? If yes, which watches do you recommend?

I dont necessarily use a Pulsation dial/scale as they are quite rare to find in modern watches. Although you do see a lot of pulsations scales making their way into high end dress chronos like the VC Cornes de Vache and PP 5170G. One of my colleagues has the Longines Pulsometer Chronograph which is relatively affordable.

But I do find that I tend to buy watches with running seconds hands as it does help with checking the pulse on a patient ie. You count the number of heartbeats in a 15 second stretch and you multiply that number x 4 to get a "beats per minute"

Probably best not contaminating your watch these days. Hands can be washed/purelled After touching patients without gloves ... watches more challenging on the fly.

The 2018 Speedmaster ck2998 (311.32.40.30.02.001) also has a pulsation bezel.
