Looking at a Milguass from Bob’s Watches. Anyone bought from him? Was going to pay with wire to save 3% and I would be a new customer and get $100 off.

New? Used?

On older watches, you need to look out for over-polishing and/or non-original dial and hands, if that sort of thing matters to you.

Also make sure ALL links (if braceleted) will come with it.

Do you need the original box and papers too?

These are just a few things to consider up front.

I’ve been to Bobs watches in Southern California and I did not have a great experience but I can tell you that they are a legit business. I’ve seen some people’s posts on this forum about the condition of the watches that they received and I would be inclined to agree with some of them.

My wife dealt with him or them on the DJII she gifted me and she said when dealing with them on that piece it was very pleasant and professional and the watch was as described but it was a new never worn piece with all tags and protection in place with the Rolex warranty, she even took it to an AD here in Houston to have it checked and it was all good.

Have not dealt with them since but there pricing seems ok on some pieces
