5513 - A dilemma or not ?
Dear All
I'm new to this game - watches and forums - and was hoping that someone could give me some advice. I've got the chance to purchase a 1970s 5513 at a reasonable price because the dial has been replaced with a newer, ringed hour marker dial. The case is immaculate but how much does the wrong dial affect the value of the watch ? Any Thoughts ? All appreciated. Thanks David. |

It's not the "wrong" dial, but a factory service replacement. Any pics, what's the serial & asking price?

Well....
5513's are not that hard to find......You can always search out a Matt Dial for this watch, but why not just keeping looking for an original example????

as clay mentioned, a matte 5513 dial can be sourced quite easily. but can you get some pics of the 5513 that you have been offered, then we can help you even more.

I would shop around and get a watch with the right dial. There are so many around for sale, you will be spoilt for choice. But it sounds like someone has offered you a bargain
