Speaking at a Funeral

I recently attended a funeral and felt moved to say something. So, as the minister was finishing his eulogy, I asked the widow if it would be okay for me to say a word. She was somewhat surprised, but told me it would be fine.

So, when the minister finished, I stood up, thought for a moment, and said, "Plethora," then sat down.

A moment later, the widow leaned over to me, hugged me, and said, "Thank you. That means a lot."

Thank you. I'll show myself out.

Too highbrow for me. I’ll be honest, had to look it up, and because of that it’s not as funny
