When did Rolex start applying those types of stickers? Was it far enough back to have been on a watch with lug holes?

Yes, the full case stickers first appeared with the lug hole models. My best guess would have been early 2000. I've owned and seen other NOS models from 1998 that did not have the full case stickers. Prior to 2000, watches had case-back sticker and a clasp sticker.

Thanks. Speaking of case back stickers... Don't think that any came with both a transparent case back sticker and hologram, which means that the transparent one on this watch was added later. Which in and of itself doesn't mean anything, but worth pointing out if there weren't already enough speculation that OP was taken for a ride.

I've seen them with the green case back sticker and the clear case back sticker on the NOS versions prior to the early 2000 ful sticker version. Below is an NOS "A" serial GMT sold during March 2000.

Definitely not NOS; not that I’m telling you anything different. What’s worse is that the seller tried to cover it up by putting “stickers” on it like they were OEM.

Send it back and get your money back.
