Wow! Nice collection Danny. Mine is more humble than yours. Only got like 3 small ones plus a bunch of free samples.

Can I get a bottle???

I tried the Aventus on and the wife liked it a lot. I’ll be getting one eventually.

Nice one Danny. What are your favourites?

I only have Bois du Portugal at the moment. Thinking about buying Green Irish Tweed (my bottle ran out about six months ago, and since then I’ve been wearing a few others a lot more). Also want a bottle of Royal Oud.

Great collection! At least own it though...there is nothing "humble" about this collection! Awesome stuff!

Hi, I’m Brian and I have a fragrance problem…
At the moment I’ve got Green Irish Tweed, Bois du Portugal, Mil Imperial, Original Santal, Himalaya, Royal Water, Aventus, Sublime Vanille and Tabarome.
I need to buy a new Original Vetiver as I finally finished a bottle of something!
And I’ve got to get a Virgin Island Water. I’ve only had a couple decants of that one. I’m not sure why I never bought it. Worst is Royal Water. Sometimes I like it, sometimes there’s something I don’t like in there.
Of the above, the best is probably vintage Bois du Portugal, which I think is discontinued now sadly. However it’s not a daily wear kind of scent, that’s where the Original Vetiver comes in. Classic, clean, signature scent worthy.
Ironically Creen isn’t even my favorite fragrance house. Lol!

Nice collection!

I've got a question, since it came up in the recent "discount Creed" thread:

The consensus seemed to be that grey market (legitimate) Creed was undesirable due to it's likely "age". Not being critical at all, but looking at the collection, I would assume that some of those bottles are relatively old, as it would be hard to make a dent in the quantity over a relatively short period of time (2-3 years?).

Just curious, as I'm not a daily user of any fragrances. Anything I buy is getting "old" on it's own.

That’s quite a collection

I prefer to go with one fragrance as my signature. Nothing beats having people recognize you by a classic, subtle tell YMMV

Fantastic collection but that wonky little tile on your backsplash would bother me to no avail.

Very nice.
My wife just got me the Aventus and Gold bottle. Was never really into colognes but now that I know better, the Aventus is pretty incredible and my go-to.
Any idea how long the shelf life is on these before they go “bad?” You have an awfully large collection. I feel like my 2 large bottles is quite a bit!

In theory: Olivier Creed has said “six years or more” if stored properly.

In practice: People on the Basenotes forum have reported owning them for over 20 years with no problems (the top notes will probably fade a little in time). Some people claim their bottles actually get stronger after a month or so of using a little then storing away (macerating it, like allowing oxygen into a bottle of red wine before drinking). I’m not sure that really works with Creed.

My experience: I have one bottle of vintage perfume, Polo Green, that is about 40 years old, smells wonderful and is very strong still. As for Creed, my previous 100ml bottle of Green Irish Tweed was so favoured it only lasted me 18 months, but it didn’t get weaker or stronger. Love that one.

expecting a delivery for fathers day.

not much into cologne. still have some old polo left from high school.

I recently learned the scents have a time in which they are robust, but with time can lessen their strength.

how have you found this to be?

this will be my first entry into higher end scents. looking forward to it.
