Omega sea master problem!!!!

Hey,

My Dad owns some very cool pieces from all kinds of brands but is obsessed with his seamaster quartz. I think he likes it because it never stops ticking... and no winding.
Anyways, I’ve noticed yesterday that the second hand doesn’t move per second, rather like every 3-4 seconds. Is it a sign that the battery is low and about to die? Or is this normal ? How often does is require a battery change?

Thanks

I think that means low battery.

Not expensive to replace it. Might as well do it and check.

Low battery indication, just needs a new battery.

Make sure you get it pressure tested and sealed too! Last thing you want is a leaking divers watch. A competent watchmaker doing the work is also important.
