Sold my GMT 2 c today!

I really liked the watch but as I own several other watches that use regulary it seemed like a waste of money to have such an expensive watch (for me anyway) spend days on the winder as I rotate my collection.

But a really nice watch that I can recommend to anyone. Maybe a little blingy for my taste but still nice. The ceramic bezel is fantastic. But I still have two Rolex so I will stick around here.

Bye GMT 2c

That's bad but if you think that you did the right thing then it's ok. I received mine yesterday and i have to say that it's an amazing watch. Also the accuracy is really good so far.

I am ambivalent about my GMT IIc. Cetain upgrades are awesome, others I can do without, such as the supercase and polished center links. I'll wait and see what to do with my GMT.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out, but you did what you had to do. I love mine.

Thanks, I'm still happy even without it, as I bought it cheap, got to wear this great watch for three months and sold it with a small profit. So I'm happy. I might buy one again in the future when the worst hype has left the watch. Who knows? In the end it's only watch. Important to remember!

Don't feel bad about it, Jesper! You did the right thing.

I was also going through this a couple of days back and intend to sell my SS Daytona for various reasons, one of them being that I hardly ever use the chronograph functions. The money will go to pay out a mortgage.

Agree about those polished center links. If not for them, I might actually have chosen it over a Bluesy...

Glad I'm not alone. I'm considering moving my IIC as well and replacing it with a IWC SS Ingenieur. I want something stealthier and already have a gmt superior to the IIC.
Recently moved the SD so if the IIC goes, I'll be Rolexless. I know that won't last long though. We'll see what Basel unveils.

You might have to change your screen name.

haha! still in love with the brand. must not hate the IIC too much as it's been locked on wrist for going on 40 hrs.
