I was surprised to see it. Didn’t it get discontinued a few years ago?

Yeah I am not a fan. I've seen it in the flesh by chance when I met a fellow collector in the Shanghai airport at the Salvatore Ferragamo store :)

I would have to see it in the metal but from pictures it looks weak. Almost like a fake patek skeleton lol

Remember the older version a decade or so ago, small case and all. Looked nice yet very small. As a note of interest, it sat in the Barcelona AD window for quite some time. As i recall, they were asking $23k yet would take $20k for it (used with original box, original papers, etc).

i passed.

There is a 3878J in the London Salon priced around £ 62000. However that watch has been reserved for a customer until he raises funds.

Saw and was offered a PP skeleton and I agree with many of the preceding comments. Just not a very attractive skeleton watch IMO.

Not odd at all. These days you can find anything on display apart from Aquanauts, Nautilus, enamel world timers and minute repeaters.

I have seen 5180/1R on display in Boodles and Patek Salon in London. I have also seen 5204R on two occasions and 5370P on display

Might be on display but I doubt any Naut/Aqua are actually available!

I prefer my AP 15407OR

I know its more complicated to produce this in a thin case however I prefer the look and feel to the AP.

Wow, and yes that's the one. Very beautiful, yet soooo small i couldn't justify as wear my timepieces and have no real occasions for it. Nice to see the vintage pieces commanding nice value.
