For me, Panerai is a fad, and one that won't last. Their watches are comically big and clunky and are destined to look as dated as the Movado ultra thin quartz watches of the eighties. Omega can't measure up to Rolex and will always be second class, no matter how much money they give Cubby Brocolli's family.

So that's my list, and it's only in my humble opinion, by the way.
Panerai has actually been making the same basic design since the 1940's. As for your remarks about Omega....... No comment.

I agree. Every Citizen I've ever owned has been a fantastic watch. I'd love to have an Omega soon. There are others - IWC, Patek, etc. that I'd love to experience someday also.

Panerai does have a distinguished history, and I don't know how 60+ years of history constitutes a fad. I can't limit myself to just three other brands, so I'm going to add to my original post with:

Ulysse Nardin
Kobold
Vacheron Constantin
JLC

Hard question... Omega, of course, V&C, I think... then... perhaps Glashutte, IWC or PP...

I rarely love a brands entire collection - here's a few of my favorite individual pieces (I know there are more than 3 but I can't help it).

Just a bit of history for you all: Between 1938 and 1993, Panerai produced 300 watches. Then, Sylvester Stalone found one in a watch shop and wore it in the movie "Daylight. He ordered some more or the watches and gave them to his friends; Arnold Schwarzenegger among them. Two action movie stars start wearing them in the mid-nineties and they suddenly become popular, and Panerai is bought by Richmonte and begins making thousands of the watches.

I'll spare you quoting the definition of the word "fad". I stand by my statement.

Yeah, nice models. But I think Harry Winston sound not like a watchmaker to me. They famous in the design for diamond and jewelry watches.

Yeah, I see that movie, when Stallone wear Pannie. I think Pannie doing great job today. Good looking watch, specially the "Base" model such 005, 111, 112, 210. And the other limited model such Submersible, Marina Militare (my favorite Pannie, but the value is crazy!!!), etc.
