What the hell ... He was a quite engaged Instagram User and I even invited him in our Watches Facebook group and we commented on our pictures a lot!

I think the case with the fake watches with 16yo was a youth-sin, and maybe he was betrayed himself (and abviously too naive to check) with the Longines.

Mistakes on every side: 1. Seller (maybe) lied, 2. Buyer: Sayub: Too naive to check, 3. buyer: too naive too because he didn't checked immediately!!

So I hope every side is learning out of that case.

Sorry GMTfanatic, but you're giving too much credence to ZSayub/iwally – the member who sold him the Longines isn't the sort to mislead anyone, and he even says he told him in one of the quoted comments I pasted up there.

At the end of the day, all this stemmed from an agreement to refund £30/CHF46/$50 in light of the difference in carat, and after chasing ZSayub for the refund, Baden posted the thread in TZ-UK's H&V (heroes and villains) feedback section, with a question mark.

Subsequent digging and revelations from other members uncovered the whole unsavoury truth about him, and things really got hot under the collar when it was found he is active on a replica forum(s).

Now if Dad is in the dental game (again), making crowns or dentures, etc, then he just might be helping out with his son's education at University, but it's unknown if his generosity extends to part payment of the real Rolex he bought from a member here.
After what has come to light, it's certainly open to conjecture that he's duped buyers elsewhere with fake Omegas, and it only takes a few successful cons to amass enough to buy a genuine Rolex or get Dad to go halvers with him.
Having a real one, and being able to point back to its purchase from here, gives him a smokescreen to hide behind when sending out replicas off the back of images of the real thing.
And that's not forgetting he nearly duped another member into swapping his PP for the replica AP.

Long story short.....don't shed any tears over his removal, since it was completely deserved and of his own making.

This is very disappointing as we were pretty good friends on IG and have been for some time. I'm surprised, but more disappointed than anything. He really does sound like a bit of a sociopath. I'll be staying clear from now on. Thanks for the heads up and I'm glad this information came to light.

Just tried to search for this IG handle and it doesn't exist. Looks like it was changed to @zsayub40 His profile "Brb -exams" suggests that it's the same person after reading through this thread. The account's private...

Given that this character has obviously attempted to defraud on numerous occasions , why has no-one involved reported him to the police?
I wouldn't be surprised if he was already known to the law enforcement authorities.......

Yep I spoke to him for a while at that GTG, He was just getting into watches (apparently) I think he had a SubC no date on at the time. Quite expensive tastes for someone training to be a pharmacist. Very quiet chap no heirs or graces, he did seem to appear from nowhere.

His "former" rep friends have taken the revelation of his deceit very much to heart.
Can't say I agree with how far they've taken the matter, but it's their call.

Wow. Just read that thread. Some serious detective work. I must say I wasn't expecting pics of properties etc. The guy has nowhere to go.

There is some good detective work above. Evil must be rooted out. Con men are evil because they prey on the innocent. Thanks to OP for your work.

Interesting that Replica watch "sporters" have such a righteous and moral way about them.

In case you've not been keeping up with what's been happening over on their forum, here's where they're up to now.
It's good to learn, and see demonstrated, that they really don't abide people using reps to take others' money, under the false pretence of being offered a genuine one.

Some of this is worth jail time here stateside, especially dealing over bank wire and the Internet. Why hasn't this chap been brought up on charges? Seems to still be active looking at his Facebook.
