Hey guys,

New to the forum, but quickly learning and understanding! Was looking at a no date sub on here, by seller "sales1" for $7,400. Contacted him for a reference and he referred me to this guy "julian" through email who I dont even have a user ID for. Julian of course says hes a great guy and very trustworthy.

I wasn't convinced, so I asked for some sort of ID, which he sent along with a pic of his TD bank card (it turns out to be a pre-paid card). Its a Maryland ID with a name that seems to be from Nigeria, upon research. Asked for a bank transfer. Safe to say, I did not proceed.

Just a warning for everyone to keep an eye out. Heck, I'd love to be proven wrong, it's a great deal!

I was interested in this watch a few weeks back, and had some back and forth with the guy. He gave me two references for sales of Rolex watches, and I contacted both. Both said he was an excellent seller. Thankfully, I was hesitant and didn't send him $7000. The price seemed to good to be true, and a bit of broken English or incorrect English in the ad had me very worried.

You're right about those pics, definitely seems like he copied them. He sent me one with his user name on it, looks like a 2 year old scribbled it while blindfolded lol. Glad no one fell for it! Thanks
