Tudor Bronze DISPLAY Model for sale!

Recently I was in a local jewelry store in New York. They gave out these broad coupons like $750 off of an item $4000 or more.
They have a Tudor Bronze and to my surprise they will take the $750 off. So I can get a new Bronze at a great price but it is a display model.

I asked do you have any non-display models. They replied "We don't have any display models!"
- So she's basically saying all the models are display models and that is what is purchased.
Now it's a great price but there is also one on a certain auction site that's also for a great price that comes with a variety of Tudor straps.

I'd like to have it new for the warranty. I'll be abusing this watch so I want to be covered.
What do you guys think. I'm I too stingy about the display thing?

Also should mention that I'm going to avoid paying Uncle Sam.

Are they an AD?

It's an official Tudor AD.
They have other brands and they are a good store.
The watch looked great but a little dirty and the strap even looks a little broken in.

Just found this video

He claims it should come in plastic to avoid patina before the owner handles the watch.
Anyone else own the bronze?

My BBB was already patina when I bought it. I think it depends on AD but most I have seen don’t have plastic on the case. There is a tip in this forum how to remove patina. You should try visit other AD and ask how much they can give you discount on this model for comparison. I got around 10% off.

That watch is not in high demand. Grey dealers often have them for $1000 off of MSRP. Shop around.
