Cool

Very cool watches! I don't have any on my own but I wish to be able to buy one soon enough!

Watches are subjective, up to a point. Paul Alieri wrote an excellent 14060 review: The Last of the Best-showing specifics of the 3100 & 3130 movements. Rolex waited a bit before submitting the 14060M for COSC status.
What puts it in perspective is as an original owner of a 1680 red Submariner-- I have had for 48
years. Fairly regular serviced, but amazingly tough return service and time kept under
trying conditions, including SE Asia combat.
There may be more expensive watches, that might keep more accurate time-but none
really have a tough watch record to compare with the Submariner/Sea Dweller.

Yehlai, I certainly see your point and pretty much agree with you. I also deliberated on this issue for quite awhile and after due consideration of both of these Rolex Submariners I have opted for the 114060. As of now I am merely waiting for delivery. I feel I could not lose with either the new 114060 or a "good used" 14060M - However there is no guarantee of obtaining a good used 14060M in a very good 90% condition or better. And then even if I were able to do so the cost that 14060 with or without a possible servicing would no doubt exceed the price of a new 114060! Now in the most highly improbable event of procuring a "bad lemon" new 114060 the Rolex five year warrant would completely remedy that problem. Obviously, under the totality of circumstances as far as I'm concerned the Rolex Submariner 114060 thumbsup: is the way to go!

If you're looking for brand new, the 114060 is really the only game in town. Apart from. Couple NOs from a trusted seller, you have to go ceramic Sub.

I prefer the slimmer 14060M, but just sold mine. Will admit the 114060 is rapidly growing on me.

114060 for me, better technology, is ceramic, may last you ages if you take care of it.

Absolutely 114060 is more of a military built jewelry tool watch as compare to 14060M
