Bond 60th Anniversary at Goldeneye

I was fortunate to accept deliver of this lovely piece on Friday, the next day I wore it on the inaugural flight to Ocho Rios, AA flight 4007. Here it is at Goldeneye where Ian Fleming wrote the Bond novels. I attach a few more photos for the Bond enthusiast. Fleming’s house from the plane, the Ian Fleming airport and a tribute from Chris Blackwell, the resort’s owner, about the Bond 60th anniversary bottle of rum.

Fun trip. Congrats on the watch. Can we see a few more pics of it on the rubber strap? Did you go tang buckle or deployant?

I kept the standard band but bought the rubber strap and deployment buckle as an add on. Thought it would be better for water sports. It also looks great.

As requested here is a picture of the back with the deployment buckle. The picture is taken in the Fleming room at Goldeneye

A couple of bonus pics for the Bond fan. The watch at Laughing Waters where the iconic scene of Ursula Andress in the white bikini walks out of the sea with the shell was filmed. Government has it all blocked off from the road so you have to hire a boat to get there.

The boat on the shore is the Blue Angel from NTTD. It got washed up on shore a few weeks ago in a storm.

...then shouldn't you be wearing a Rolex as Bond did in Dr. No..? Hah!

Looks like a great trip, thanks for sharing.

Very cool- thank you for sharing and that watch is looking sharp on the rubber.

I got to snorkel at the Thunderball Grotto in Bahamas while on a SCUBA trip. That was pretty neat. Watched the movie right when I got home to see the ending when he gets lifted out.
