My thoughts are the Explorer 1. I am looking for a weekend watch. Have looked at the DJII as I really like the rhodium Arabic dial. I can't get past the polished center links and how easily they will get scratched.

I'd combine the two for a blue Sub, TT or WG.

Both are great and equally casual watches I think.
The Sub is a little more low key and is a classic choice. The Milgauss is a little shinier with some color and a fun second hand. My personal choice is Sub because the Milgauss has never really appealed to me, but I think both are equally suitable for casual wear. |

Sub is a easy choice. Brushed bracelet and clasp will hide scratches and smudges.

Sub for sure. The mil is a great watch and on my short list but it is less under the radar. The sub has been so copied by everyone that it draws little attn

Milgauss, as being less bulky and more comfortable. Sub having a date function. Sub flashy due to Bezel; Milgauss due to bracelet and quirky bolt hand. For me the choice is between comfort/quirkiness/easylink and date/maxi case/glide lock.

Casual as in low key or with a little bling to it? Pick whatever you're in the mood for...that's what I do.

Sub is more casual, but the MG is for more versatile and stylish than the 6 digit fat watches.
Subs are everywhere, go for the MG GV, casual to formal.
