Keep your blue 15400. Power reserve is irrelevant if you have a collection. Mouvement size as well. Are you really looking at it that often?

I finally picked up my blue from AP. Been sitting there for around a few weeks but I didn't get time to collect it until yesterday. The blue in person is gorgeous. and I This is my new daily wearer for the office etc. I like the fact that it has a 70 hour reserve as I wont be wearing it from Friday evening till Monday morning so it will last. I also prefer the cleaner dial of this watch over the 15400

Personally I went with the blue as I loved this shade but could easily have picked the grey as well. Not a fan of the black.

It comes down to whichever one you like the most.
I got a grey 15500 2 weeks ago and love it.

In addition, the minimal dial is exactly like the dial of the minute repeater “supersonnerie”. I also like the new slate grey dial, it’s neutral, elegent, and easy to wear.
Go with whatever you like more aesthetically. I really like the slate grey.

I personally think the blue dial on the 15400/15450 is overrated, after having owned treble dial 15450.

I like the darker hue to the 15202, which I am now fortunate enough to own.

For you, and for the reasons you mentioned I would trade. You like the 15500 upgrades and like the dial color.

If you are not in love with the blue get rid of it, I really don’t understand everyone’s infatuation with a blue dial. Sure they looked nice, but most people on here talk like it’s blue dial or bust

I truly appreciate everyone's input. I’ve enjoying wearing my blue 15400 since 2013 and it’s time to switch gears. As all good things come to an end, I will most likely do the the flip, however, the slate grey 15500 hasn’t arrived yet. I will keep guys you posted once I have the chance to pull the trigger.

Bold decision, early congrats, the gray on both 15400/15500 looks great. What about your username?

Grey incoming?
Congratulations OP
Difficult to choose, but the 15500 has my preference. The design is more balanced with the date window trimmed to the right and the outer rim om the bezel at 12 and 6 overflowing with the case
edge.
Anyway both are stunners.

IMO no.

The blue is absolutely stunning and definitely the best dial choice (especially on the 15400). Not as big of a fan of the blank space on the 15500.. yet
