I dont know this person at all but would not consider them unless it was in person at a AD. They have been on the forum for a year and a half with no feedback. I also dont like it when they dont list any name or location in the info.

I cant stand thieves and try to stick with long time forum members especially trusted sellers with a proven track record. Why take a chance on a unknown. What are you actualy saving if anything and how would you feel if it goes bad.

I have read many many scam stories here and its always the same mo and they usually want to do things around the start of the weekend so they have time to move the money before the trail goes dead. May be perfectly legit but I wouldnt do it for the above reasons.

Also be careful on the feedback you get. If there in the same category not being here long with no feedback I wouldnt trust there feedback either. Scammers are more sophisticated and are creating accounts now sometimes over a year or two to make it look more legit.

I'll chime in, I have lots of references, but they are from TZ, not from TRF, but I use the same username.

I am always happy to provide references to any potential buyer, as well as chat on the phone. I've been a user of TZ since 2007, but only recently joined TRF last year because I just purchased my first Rolex in 2018, my Deepsea. Not fair to make the assumption that I'm a scammer, just based on the fact I haven't been a member of TRF for an extended time and we haven't worked together.

I bought an IWC Aquatimer from Kyle in 2016. The transaction was flawless. I spoke to him on the phone a couple of times during the process as well.

I’m by no means a prolific poster here but I have been buying, selling, and trading watches since before the internet was a part of everyone’s daily lives. I was scammed once online and became quite wary as a result.

Caution is always warranted in a transaction, especially for a high dollar item. I find speaking to someone and hearing their voice goes a long way.

Finally, Kyle is easily googled and works for a large and well known company whose products many here use. You can always call him at his corporate office.

Kind regards,

Chris

I can all recommend Kyle

Hi all, mostly a lurker here but purchased a PAM 1024 from him back in May. Great transaction and communication. The watch was in better condition then he stated. If anyone would like to PM I’d be happy to share our email thread showing the transaction. I was very nervous as these types of transactions are far and few between for me but he made it easy, we also spoke on the phone often.

I did a deal with Kyle a few years ago. I purchased a watch and the transaction was very smooth. I would not hesitate to deal with Kyle again.
