Seiko Prospex Diver SPB107 - Topper LE

https://shop.topperjewelers.com/prod...dition-deposit

Presenting the Seiko Prospex Diver SPB107 - TOPPER LIMITED Edition
The seventh entry in an ongoing series of TOPPER Edition watches specially designed for Northern California retailer Topper Jewelers, introduces a stealthy and exclusive color treatment to a fan-favorite Seiko Prospex diver.

*Due to the demand of this timepiece, we wanted to specifically mention the shipping costs:

Free Domestic Shipping within the US.

$50 for USPS International or $100 for FedEx International—shipping costs will be due at the time of the balance invoice payment before the watch is ready to ship. Buyer is responsible for any applicable customs fees, or other miscellaneous charges that may apply in your country, as this fee only covers delivery.

The Seiko ‘Prospex’ (Japanese shorthand for “Professional Specifications”) story is one that has rightfully earned its place in watch collector lore. Justifiably so, as pieces bearing the signature ‘X’ have been expressly purpose-built to the specifications demanded by marine professionals, military pilots, and adventure-seekers alike, ensuring total dependability virtually anywhere on the planet. This includes extreme water resistance, enhanced shock and magnetic resistance, and improved legibility in any lighting environment.

This very special TOPPER Edition Prospex Dive watch was inspired by that pure capability and adventurous spirit, and is built around the foundation and dial architecture of the SPB077 Diver. Introduced in 2018, the SPB077 is a thoroughly modern tool watch that continues the traditions of Seiko’s groundbreaking 6159 Hi-Beat Diver from 1968, which would go on to set the bar for all Prospex watches to follow. Like the SPB077, this TOPPER Edition includes a highly scratch resistant sapphire crystal, and Seiko’s newest long-lasting LumiBrite on the hands and markers which lasts approximately 60% longer than previous applications.

Expected Availability: July 2019

Saw the prototype in the flesh earlier today and put a deposit down for one. Can't wait for it to arrive.

Was speaking with Russ at Topper and he mentioned that Seiko didn't allow them to make this available to the international market in the end, which was why I managed to get in even though it's been quite a while since this was launched!

I wonder if they had to refund international order deposits.

Beautiful looking dive watch!

A shame it was not made available outside of the US. I guess I will have to wait until they find themselves on the secondary market.

Wear it in good health!

Looking forward to seeing other incomings on this thread.

Topper ships worldwide, so there’s no reason you can’t buy a brand new one. Obviously there’ll be an import duty and VAT invoice to square up when it arrives.

I think Seiko made it a requirement to only allow Topper to ship to a US address, thereby making it somewhat a US exclusive piece. The sales rep from Topper made a point of telling me that up front when I ordered mine.

Ways and means around that limitation, if that’s indeed the case.

Seller isn't crazy, seller is dreaming. If someone buys it, then the buyer is crazy.
